Dr. Tetsuo Ohara co-founded NanoWave in 1995, and has been the driving force behind the development of NanoWave SPPE technology, an effort that began at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Tetsuo's doctoral work at MIT was dedicated to proving the theoretical feasibility of a subnanometer precision position measurement method. Prior to MIT, Tetsuo headed the Advanced Research & Engineering Group at the Kodak Japan Research and Development Center in Yokohama, Japan. Tetsuo was the 1992 recipient of Kodak's prestigious C.E.K. Mees Award for "excellence in technical innovation and reporting in response to business needs".

Charlie oversees sales, business development, customer relationships, and licensing activities at NanoWave. He also assists in project management. Charlie’s background is an excellent fit with NanoWave. He was Business Unit Manager of Zygo’s distance measuring interferometer activity, in its early days. Under his leadership, the revenue of the DMI group grew at a CAGR of >35% for 4 years as Zygo captured major customers world-wide including Canon and GCA wafer steppers, multiple diamond turning machine customers, and other high precision machine companies. Charlie has also held positions including CEO of SemiTest, a semiconductor metrology start-up, and President of Semilab USA, a company specializing in metrology for the solar cell industry, as well as many engineering management positions. In all these positions he has caused technology-based operations to become commercially successful business, generating not only revenue but also excellent customer relationships.

Mr. Enoch has over 30 years experience in Embedded Hardware, Software, System, and Product Design related to Data Communications and Industrial Controls. Specific areas of experience are; Custom ASIC and FPGA logic, Modems, Ethernet, Wireless Cellular Technologies, Printing Technologies, and Building Energy Management. Mr. Enoch specializes in understanding the disciplines in all facets of manufacturing a product and also specializes in understanding people, their motivations, their purpose, and their values.

Sadaaki Nanai leads NanoWave's research effort in Japan, as well as overseeing business development efforts in Japan. He is also active in setting long term Research and Development goals for NanoWave. Sadaaki comes to NanoWave with 40 years of experience in building technology companies, having worked in executive positions at Kodak Japan R&D Center, Citizen Corporation, and Yaskawa Electric Inc.

Mr. Ong worked at MIT CSAIL Humanoid Robotics Group and MIT's Auto-ID lab as a research assistant where he was involved in numerous RFID projects sponsored by Microsoft's Robotics Studio Group before joining NanoWave. At NanoWave, Mr. Ong has contributed in many areas with his Computer Science background, from interfacing equipment and peripherals to building test stands and prototypes. He is currently responsible for product management including firmware and software application development, often utilizing advanced FPGA and GPU hardware.
